NMILC Celebrates National Pro Bono Week
Every October, we celebrate National Pro Bono Week to recognize the efforts of the incredible pro bono professionals that work with NMILC.
Thanks to the generous time and expertise of our pro bono attorneys, medical providers, and interpreters, we’re able to support immigrants seeking asylum, facing deportation, or navigating the path to citizenship, for free! Their dedication strengthens our mission and changes lives.

“Our community, our neighbors, our friends, our kids' friends, are experiencing a life on the edge that none of us can appreciate having to think about. What if something happened to me? What would my family do?.”
Ella Joan Fenoglio
Pro Bono Attorney
“When I found the Immigrant Law Center, it was almost like coming home knowing that they and I share that same love of the people and our ability, given the great structure that the Immigrant Law Center has with, forms and applications and intake and different workers, that all of us together can make such a difference for these people.”
Peter Katel
Pro Bono Interpreter
“Bad times do not last forever. There will come a time when things get better and at that moment we will have to look back and ask ourselves: what did I do?”
