Katie Vossler
Intern | Unaccompanied Children’s Team
Katie is a summer intern for NMILC’s Unaccompanied Children’s Team. She is a law student at University of Pittsburgh School of Law, anticipating graduating in May 2026. Katie is also graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College, pursuing a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management and Juris Doctorate joint degree. She is a member of Pitt’s Environmental Law and Policy Clinic, which recently placed first in Pace Law’s Environmental Law and Policy Hack with a proposal to mitigate stormwater flooding in Pittsburgh’s valley communities by turning vacant lots into bioswales, bio retention ponds, and rain gardens. Katie worked in business immigration as a paralegal prior to law school. Katie hopes to grow in her experience in immigration during her time with NMILC and return to New Mexico after graduation.
