How to Find Court Information
See below to check the status of a case or confirm whether an individual has an existing removal order or upcoming court date
If you are looking for information about a detained individual’s upcoming court date, you can search for case information using the Immigration Court Information System by entering the person’s A-number. This is a 9-digit identification number that should appear on any immigration documents they may have, including a court hearing notice, an employment authorization document, or a receipt notice from an application.
To search for whether an individual has an old removal order or will have court in the future, visit: acis.eoir.justice.gov
If they have been in immigration court or are currently in immigration court, their information will appear.
You can also call the immigration court hotline at: 1-800-898-7180 (This line is automated.) Follow the prompts to enter the A Number to search for a particular case.
