Albuquerque Museum - NMILC Fundraising Night

  • Albuquerque Museum 2000 Mountain Road Northwest Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

Join us for a special fundraising event for the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center in celebration of community power! As we face ongoing threats to justice, we choose HOPE – fueled by neighbors who show up when times are tough. NMILC's recent legislative and advocacy wins are examples of what we can accomplish when we work together. Now, we’re inviting you to be part of what comes next.

Join us from 5 - 7pm on April 8 for a family-friendly event featuring updates from NMILC's Policy and Deportation Defense Teams, as well as a private guided tour of the Detention Nation  exhibit. Help us raise $15,000 in honor of NMILC’s quinceañera year, which will allow us to sustain our mission and vital legal services.

It will be an intimate night uplifting the different forms of power we see within our communities, and how we can continue our momentum towards building a more just society for us all. This is a ticketed event ($50+ suggested donation to NMILC). There will be a cash bar.

Event Program:

5pm – Gallery viewing, music, & drinks

5:30pm – Opening remarks

6pm – Gallery tour

6:30pm – Closing remarks & letter writing to community members in detention
