Conversation: Art, Activism & Immigrant Rights

  • Albuquerque Museum 2000 Mountain Road Northwest Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

Join us for a conversation exploring the intersection of art, activism, and immigrant rights. This event is part of Detention Nation, a multimedia project by the Sin Huellas Artist Collective that examines the mass incarceration of immigrants in U.S. detention centers through sculpture, photography, and video.

Artists Delilah Montoya and Deyadira Arellano will be joined by Teague González, Co-Executive Director of the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center, in a discussion moderated by Szu-Han Ho (UNM). Together, they will explore how art can serve as a tool for political intervention, community engagement, and advocacy.
