Aracely Ramirez Flores

Intake Specialist

Aracely is originally from Los Lunas, New Mexico. In 2025, she earned her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish Language & Literatures from the University of Chicago. She has over six years of experience in community organizing efforts in both Illinois and New Mexico. Throughout her college career she served as a board member on her university Planned Parenthood: Generation Action Chapter and a volunteered with the Transformative Justice Law Project of Illinois. She has always supported the immigrant community as a first-generation American; in the summer of 2023 she received a Jeff Metcalf grant from UChicago to work at Las Americas: Immigrant Advocacy Center in El Paso and Southern New Mexico. Most recently she completed an academic year internship with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. She is incredibly excited to continue her work on the NMILC Intake team.
